Spray Foam Roofing
Spray foam roofing is a two-part watertight roofing system comprised of a spray polyurethane foam and a silicone coating, which provides UV protection for the foam. Granules can also be added which add strength and traction for walking. Prior to installing the spray foam roofing, Roof MDs will remove and repair any areas that are impacted by existing leaks.
There are many benefits of a spray foam roof. Not only are they easy to install, maintain, and repair, spray foam is also seamless and waterproof. Because it is all one layer and a closed cell system, water will merely sit on the surface without further penetrating the commercial roof system.
Spray foam also has an R-value of 6.6 per inch of thickness, which is the highest R-value per inch rating of any roofing insulation system. This means that less heat or cool air will escape your building, leading to lower energy bills.
Spray foam roofing can be applied to nearly any existing roofing system, including, but not limited to, metal roofs, rubber roofs, some ballasted roofs, TPO membrane roofs, PVC membrane roofs, EPDM roofs, built-up roofs, and modified bitumen roofs.
